Electric Vehicles Abroad
Australia lags woefully behind when it comes to the adoption of electric vehicles. The United States, Japan, China and most European countries all have reasonable electric vehicle fleets on the road. This thanks to government incentives, which encourage customers to purchase electric vehicles through a selection of rebates, grants, tax credits and exemptions, free parking, free toll and bus and transit lane use. As a general rule, countries with more generous electric vehicle schemes have seen a larger percentage of their fleet become electric.
